Everyone that was alive when an event occurred. If you weren't alive to witness it, you are not part of that generation.
It's a really simple concept.
for argument sake let’s assume that this verse should apply to 1914. what are your thoughts on generation?.

i saw a statistic the other day that something like 25% of all the debt that the us has incurred since 1776 was created in the last 12 months.
that's because they have printed so much currency and instead of letting that stop them, they are going to continue printing more to go on a spending spree on crazy green-new-deal schemes and union handouts.. does anyone think that this can be anything other than inflationary?
they are effectively stealing the wealth of everyone to then hand money out to people.
I believe the world never really recovered from the 2008 financial crisis.
Companies that had no right to continue trading because of their greed and stupidity, were propped up artificially and handed billions. These billions came from thin air, via the printing press.
Ever since then, markets have continued trading at unnatural levels thanks to handouts and low interest rates.
The effects of the pandemic and war on finances is now like the tide retreating and we'll see who has been swimming naked.

Its been interesting to read this thread over the course of the year in relation to all the crazy stuff happening.
Just had a massive (higher than expected) interest raise rise in Australia of half a percent, the highest raise in 22 years. The reserve bank says its to try and curb inflation.
If you have savings in the bank, the best interest rate is about 1.5%, up from about .2%. Our current inflation is about 6% - officially, so interest on savings is not even close to keeping pace with inflation. House prices are falling, fuel and groceries are rising.
I was surprised to learn how much of the worlds produce comes from Ukraine. Might be some hungry populations in the near future.
i can barely believe it.
it's really a dream come true.. the culmination of years of training and hard work.. i'm going to the olympics and i'm going to win multiple gold medals.. i finally figured that if a man can identify as a woman and win a medal, then i can identify as a disabled woman, so i reckon i can absolutely clean up at the special olympics.. it's so liberating being woke..
Heres some inspiration Simon:
another shooting, this time 14 kids dead more wounded and a teacher dead.
i am all for the second amendment and this does not change my mind.
but i do hate this kind of thing, makes my stomach turn.
If society is getting worse, mental illness is increasing and people are losing the capacity to take responsibility for their actions, then something has to change.
The common denominator here is access to dangerous weapons. Comparisons between gun deaths and traffic accidents is ridiculous. Transport is an essential human need. Vehicles are built to be as safe as possible and are used for many purposes. A gun is built to have 1 single purpose.
Having said that, I'm personally not anti guns, however you can't have everything.
If you claim that society is sick and has problems that can't be solved easily, then maybe there is no choice other than to limit gun ownership.

"When I was in school in the late 60s and 70s, people had guns in the back of the truck window parked at the school. Schools had guns. In college people who were ROTC would carry a rifle around on Campus. But there was little of this insane stuff going on. Why is that? Because the left has degraded our culture. Pushing transgender as normal, that you don't need a father to help raise the child, that two moms are a good thing, that black culture is not full of violence, misogynistic and glorifies hood rats and gang bangers. That violent video games and seeing at the click of a button any kind of rape, murder or violence as much as you want on the internet. Lets be clear, culture has taken a radical downward spiral over the last 40 years."
Growing up in rural Australia in the 70's and 80's, we had 3 guns in our house, and we werent even a shooting/ hunting family. Nearly every family I knew had a gun or 2 in the house. You can live in a fantasy world about how life was good in the old days but there were a lot of gun related injuries. It wasnt because there were transgender gangs roaming the streets, or video games rotting kids brains but because guns are dangerous - period. They are designed to be dangerous. To pretend otherwise is delusional.
Citing John Lott about gun control is like asking Tony Morris 3 to present an honest critique of the jw's.

"We should increase the penalties for illegal gun ownership dramatically as one step
we know that hundreds of thousands of people die every year in auto accidents, with millions more injured, some seriously. We drive anyway. We also keep working to make cars safer and drivers smarter and more responsible."
Have you ever lived in another country, or visited a country that has strict gun controls so you can get a different perspective?
Your regular school shootings/ mass shootings make news headlines around the world. The rest of the world has trouble comprehending how and why it's allowed to continue.

'Guns are great, everyone should have the right to own as many they like.'
This statement would make sense if there was no mental illness, or nobody ever lost their temper, or got jealous.
America has 120 guns per 100 people. It ranks second in gun related violence behind central american countries.
From 2013 - 2021, America averaged 87 school shootings per year.
Some Americans think this is normal and good.
only jesus has the power and authority to defeat satan and kick him out of heaven:.
“now have come to pass the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our god and the authority of his christ, because the accuser of our brothers has been hurled down, who accuses them day and night before our god.”.
Fisherman:
"But that is how we see it as it seems to us. It is what is is and things are the way they are. We can logically try to find logical reasons for why but we can’t know for sure like the identity of Jesus is Michael is a conclusion. It is not outright defined in the Bible."
I've said this before - this world and everything in it only begins to make sense when you have the courage to accept God does not exist.
i found a company and employed an elder as an underwriter and two ms as sales and marketing.
anyway, this elder will delegate his work to the ms in sales and marketing, so he can go home early.
he knew when he got started that this would be a 10 hour a day job with some saturday.
I have been an employee, a workmate and an employer of jws over the years.
Most are ok, but there was definitely an air of entitlement amongst the pioneers.
